Restored and good as new. That's what our techs do. Our laser vaporizes what's on top while touching nothing underneath. Faster than sand blasting and far less damaging.
One to two passes is all it takes to have it as good as new. Our laser process takes the buildup and leaves the metal, the wood, the brick exactly as it was.
Corrosion vaporized down to clean base metal — no pitting, no media embedded in the surface.
Baked-on grease and oil lifted from engine blocks, housings, and machinery — no solvents, no runoff.
Powder coat, paint, and industrial coatings stripped layer by layer with pinpoint control.
Smoke and soot deposits erased from metal, brick, and stone after fire events.
Residue cleared from mold cavities and vents in place — no disassembly, no downtime for re-plating.
Spray paint lifted from brick, stone, and metal without ghosting or surface scarring.
Paint and finish removed from wood while preserving the grain — ideal for restoration work.
Organic growth eliminated at the surface — a dry process with nothing left behind to feed regrowth.

Corrosion vaporized down to clean, bare metal.
Baked-on grease lifted from engines & machinery.
Paint & powder coat stripped layer by layer.
Fire & smoke damage erased from any surface.
Tooling residue cleared without abrasion.
Spray paint gone from brick, stone & metal.
Finishes removed, original grain preserved.
Organic growth eliminated — dry, chemical-free.
Sandblasting eats the surface along with the rust. Chemical stripping swaps corrosion for hazmat and soaked-in residue. The laser removes the problem — and nothing else.
| Restotecs Laser | The Old Way (Blasting / Chemicals) | |

| Cleanup & waste | ✓ Minimal — dust captured by vacuum | ✗ Spent media & contaminated runoff |
| Precision | ✓ Pinpoint control, layer by layer | ✗ Blankets everything in reach |
| Overspray & masking | ✓ None — no masking required | ✗ Extensive taping & containment |
| Job duration | ✓ Faster setup, faster finish | ✗ Long prep, dwell & cleanup time |
| Long-term cost | ✓ No consumables, no re-work | ✗ Media, chemicals & disposal fees |
One engine block or a whole production line — if it's worth keeping, it's worth restoring right. Same laser, same care, every job.
Engine blocks, chassis, frames, wheels, and classic-car parts stripped without harming tolerances.
Production equipment, tooling, and weld seams cleaned in place with minimal downtime.
Hulls, props, and hardware freed of corrosion, growth, and failing coatings.
Smoke damage removed from structural steel, brick, and stone after fire events.
Monuments, ironwork, and historic surfaces conserved with museum-grade gentleness.
Mold cavities and vents cleared of residue without abrasion to precision surfaces.
Graffiti, gum, and grime removed from facades, parking structures, and common areas.
Valves, pipelines, and plant equipment de-scaled and prepped for inspection or recoating.

No. Laser cleaning is tuned to the contamination layer — rust, paint, grease — which absorbs the laser energy and vaporizes, while the base material reflects it. That's why it's trusted on precision tooling and heritage pieces where blasting is off the table.
It depends on the surface area, material, and how heavy the contamination is. Tell us about the job through the form and we'll return a firm quote — most within 24 hours. Because there are no consumables or disposal fees, laser work is often cheaper than blasting once cleanup is factored in.
Both. Smaller parts and engine components can be dropped off or shipped to us; larger equipment and structural work we handle on-site with mobile laser units. Tell us which you'd prefer in the quote form.
Yes. There are no chemicals, no solvents, and no blast media — removed material is captured at the source by a HEPA vacuum system. Our operators are trained and certified in laser safety, and work areas are properly controlled.
Very soft or heat-sensitive substrates (some plastics and thin films) aren't good candidates, and deeply pitted corrosion may need supplemental treatment. If your job isn't a fit, we'll say so up front and point you to a better option.
